The Greenville ISD Transportation Department applied for and received the ”Texas PTA for a Clean School” Bus Grant. The grant will aide GISD in rotating older, less efficient school buses out of the fleet through the purchase of three new buses. GISD received a total grant award totaling $282,000 to purchase two, 71-passenger buses and one, 84-passenger travel bus with under-carriage storage.
